KIDS CAMP 2008!
Over a two week period, the Kids Camp volunteer team consisted of 197 individuals who ministered to 387 kids. Despite some severe weather during those weeks, we were never forced to use our ‘rainy day’ schedule. Most importantly, the Lord truly moved in the lives of each boy and girl - helping them to grow more in love with Him, His Word the Bible and the Cross!

GRADUATION THIS WEEKEND!
This weekend Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st the kids will report to their new classrooms based on which grade they will enter in the fall.

KIDS CAMP VOLUNTEER SET-UP DAY
Help set-up and prepare the cabins, sanctuary, grounds, dining hall and waterfront at beautiful Camp Ao-Wa-Kiya on Saturday, June 7. We provide the transportation to camp, as well as the donuts & coffee in the morning and lunch at noon.

We will leave ResLife at 8:00 AM and return around 3:30 PM.

It’s a great way to see camp and help us launch another wonderful 2 weeks of ministry to almost 400 kids and 175 volunteers! If you have any questions or wish to sign-up, please call the RezKidz office at 249-3712.

REZKIDZ SINGING IN WORSHIP CENTER FOR MOTHER’S DAY!
Next weekend, RezKidz (1st - 4th grades for Sunday; K - 5th grade for Saturday) will be singing in the main Worship Center for Mother’s Day - which is Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11. For more information and a complete practice schedule, visit the Mother’s Day page.

GRADUATION DATES!
Sunday, May 18 will be the last day for our STARZ program. RezKidz will continue to minister to children K - 5th grade during the summer during the 5:00 PM service. We will resume STARZ when school starts in early September.

Saturday, May 24th and Sunday, May 25th will be the last day the kids will attend children’s church according their present grade. The next weekend of Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st the kids will report to their new classrooms based on which grade they will enter in the fall.

KINDERGARTENERS VISITING REZKIDZ SANCTUARY THIS SUNDAY!
To prepare our K classes for their graduation & transition to 1st grade, we will be bringing their classes into the sanctuary for the worship and teaching time. Pastor Jon visited their classrooms last Sunday to get them excited about movin’ on up! For some, this transition is something they’ve been waiting for and will be very smooth, for others this can be a huge change that frightens them - so we want to do everything we can to make this a positive and fun-filled experience!

LAST NIGHT’S REZKIDZ WATER BAPTISM SERVICE
Last night, 28 kids were baptized in water in front of almost 300 family and friends, including family members from as far away as Florida and a couple of teachers from the kid’s elementary schools. We offer an opportunity for water baptism to our children who have attended the Kid Faith classes. To date, RezKidz has baptized almost 100 kids - each one attending the KidFaith class and meeting personally with Pastor Jon or myself to ensure that they know about faith in Christ and have a clear understanding of water baptism.

EASTER SUNDAY ATTENDANCE!
Last Sunday in the RezKidz Sanctuary, Peter Nestler - the Rope Master - ministered in front of almost 900 children (K - 5th grades) for each of the 9:30 and 11:30 AM services. Peter began jumping rope in elementary school and won his first world championship while in 3rd grade! Peter travels extensively throughout the U.S. and overseas - and was a big hit with young and old alike. Total Easter Sunday attendance at ResLife was 10,526 - almost 3,000 more people than our typical Sunday morning.

REZKIDZ CHOIR - SINGING THIS SUNDAY!
This Sunday, March 30th, Miss Shirley and the RezKidz Choir will be singing in the RezKidz Sanctuary during the 9:30 and 11:30 AM services. Kids will meet in the Choir Room near the 52nd Street RezKidz entrance. Family members are welcome to attend these RezKidz services.
